We have had a long-standing relationship with the Capilano Group since 2014 as the lead landscape architect, providing site planning, analysis, detailed design, and construction administration services for numerous successful projects at the famed Capilano Suspension Bridge, one of Vancouver’s top tourist destinations. Oriented around the breath-taking Capilano River and canyon, this is thematic design for tourism at its most challenging, with a special focus on materiality, wayfinding and accessibility, all which contribute to a unique and unforgettable visitor experience.

Project Feature: City of Kelowna Parklet Challenge

LOCI was invited by the City of Kelowna to participate alongside several other companies to design a parklet for the Meet me on Bernard Festival - a summer event hosted by the City of Kelowna that converted the 400 and 500 blocks of Bernard Avenue in Downtown Kelowna, into a pedestrian/active transportation corridor and outdoor event space that included outdoor patios, pop-up shops, public art venues, and parklets.
